OPTIMUM HARVEST MATURITIES AND COLD STORAGE POTENTIAL OF NEW PLUM VARIETIES

Buchanan, R. & Brock, B., 2005, ‘Optimum harvest maturity and cold storage potential of the new ARC Infruitec-Nietvoorbij plum varieties’, SA Fruit Journal 4(5), 19-21.

Description

ExperiCo conducted post-harvest evaluations on the new ARC Infruitec-Nietvoorbij plum varieties Sunbreeze, Lady West and 4A-35-14, on behalf of the Deciduous Fruit Producers’ Trust (DFPT), during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. The varieties were identified and prioritised by the Stone Fruit Operational Committee as having potential for the South African stone fruit industry.
