ExperiCo conducted post-harvest evaluations on the new ARC Infruitec-Nietvoorbij plum varieties Sunbreeze, Lady West and 4A-35-14, on behalf of the Deciduous Fruit Producers’ Trust (DFPT), during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. The varieties were identified and prioritised by the Stone Fruit Operational Committee as having potential for the South African stone fruit industry.
