De Kock, V.A., Brock, B. & Jooste M., 2003, ‘Storage evaluation of stone fruit cultivars’, SA Fruit Journal 2(3), 13-15.
ExperiCo, formerly known as Capespan Technology Development, conducted storage evaluations on certain stone fruit cultivars recently released by the Agricultural Research Council (Infruitec-Nietvoorbij), namely: Alphine nectarine, and the plum cultivars, Sunkiss and Sundew. The evaluation of each cultivar, over a period of three to four seasons, was aimed at establishing the optimum packaging for best maintenance of fruit quality in export fruit.
